No peak for fossil fuel until 2035: Wood Mackenzie

The consultancy expects oil demand to peak around 2036 while gas has a brighter future as the bridging fuel to carbon-neutrality in 2050. Demand will continue to increase till 2035 and beyond

Coal will take the hardest hit, with major consuming countries, such as China, switching to cleaner fuels while the petrochemical industry, which is driving oil consumption is also seeing slowing demand
