ATI posts record volumes on resilient economy

International traffic through the main Manila port rose 6% to more than 1.3m teu, a new record. Meanwhile at the southern Luzon gateway Batangas Container Terminal volumes rose 25% to 250,000 teu as expanded facilities are also nearing completion

The rebounding Philippines economy pushed ATI to record volumes in 2018, which in turn drove net income 16% higher to Peso2.9bn from Peso2.5bn in 2017
