Blackstone invests in marine terminal operator Carrix
Terminal operator Carrix, parent of SSA Marine, added investment firm Blackstone to its ownership with the announcement of the investment of an undisclosed sum today. The growth-oriented investment will support the expansion of Carrix, which has operations at 250 port and railway locations, including the ports of Long Beach and Oakland
The deal gives Carrix a long-term partnership with the Blackstone Infrastructure Partnership, which has support from Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund
