Impact of French customs action on ports eases

After a week of delays caused by industrial action in France, truck traffic with the UK returned closer to normalcy on Friday. In a claim disputed by the head of the Port Boulogne Calais authority, labour unions in France argued that Friday’s improvements were only temporary and that customs officers were unhappy with preparations ahead of Brexit
