Hong Kong tests emission-sensing drones

The cloud-based system claims to be able to also sense other emissions in addition to ensuring sulphur emission levels are within limits. Hong Kong’s Environmental Protection Department aims to deploy the drones as soon as the end of the year

The system can produce results within minutes while scanning emissions from as far as 50 metres from exhaust plumes
