Zim moves ahead with blockchain after trials

Global carrier is ‘poised to begin the next phase’ after a successful pilot of its blockchain-based platform for documentation processes. Zim says it plans to focus on the Asia-South Africa and North America-Mediterranean trades in the first quarter of 2019

Pilot found that blockchain technology can not only replace paper, but also improve current activities which rely on emails, fax and other existing tools
