Singapore to trial methanol as ship fuel

Pilot project in the top bunker hub could be launched before the end of 2019. Trials are to be conducted within local waters, with the project's partners still in talks to secure a vessel

Singapore-based Nanyang Technological University and not-for-profit lobby group Methanol Institute are co-funding the project
