Europe forecast to take in surplus LNG as Asia demand dwindles

With a record 60m tonnes per annum of projects to be sanctioned, growth in supply will outstrip that of demand; surplus in Asia will drive spot prices down and prices may fall further if this winter is milder than usual

While there will be some pressure on prices, this is unlikely to bring the level of oversupply some fear, says WoodMac analyst
