Two injured after chemical tanker catches fire off Cyprus

The 2010-built, Malta-flagged, combined chemical and oil carrier Athlos suffered an explosion and ran aground off Cyprus en route to the Greek port of Aspropyrgos. Two Indian national crew members have been hospitalized with burns.

The vessel will remain in place until the marine accident investigation committee determines the cause of the explosion
