Transpacific rates on downward track
With the peak season and pre-tariff cargo rush at an end, the SCFI shows US-China spot rates continuing their journey south to levels not witnessed since July. Carriers will take solace though in how the market continues to outperform 2017 on a week-by-week comparison, and by some distance.
