US import growth said to slow in 2019 from record
Frontloading ahead of possible new tariffs on Chinese goods drove imports at the US's major retail container ports to new records in 2018. A report released by the National Retail Federation predicts a significant slowdown to follow as the market adjusts to higher prices and lower confidence in 2019
