LNG trio plot new ‘Cool Company’ fleet of 16 vessels
The red-hot spot market for LNG carriers may be in for some consolidation as three leading owners are planning to launch a new 16-vessel shipowning entity named The Cool Company, Lloyd’s List can reveal. Golar LNG, Awilco LNG and the TMS Cardiff Gas-managed fleet will be contributing the vessels and backers of the project are keen to hold an initial fundraiser in the Norwegian over-the-counter market, before the year’s end if possible
