Owners and yards welcome EU-South Korea subsidy talks

Allegations about South Korea's state subsidies for shipping and shipbuilding have been building up over the past month. But the EU is now meeting with the world's second-largest shipbuilders and European owners and yards are hopeful for a level playing field

The EU had previously notified it the World Trade Organisation that it wants to join Japan in consultations on South Korean subsidies
