HHLA confirms positive outlook after container throughput rises

Hamburg terminal operator HHLA saw volumes rise, but the increase in the number of large ships and rising fuel and personnel costs ate into its earnings

Volumes were up at Elbe River terminals, but growth remains anaemic and feeder throughput fell, while storage fees also slumped after the disruption from a reorganisation came to an end
