Grimaldi eyes next generation of multipurpose and ro-pax orders
Grimaldi Group, despite plenty of newbuildings still to be delivered, has already begun looking towards its next generation of ro-pax and multipurpose vessels, which it envisages as having greater intake but consuming as much as 30%-40% less fuel. And on the subject of fuel, managing director Emanuele Grimaldi has said that while there should be no delay to implementation of the 2020 sulphur cap, owners who could not comply because of non-availability of the right fuels should get immunity
