Japan pushes for EEDI changes

Ahead of a high level environmental meeting next week, Japan wants to rectify what it sees as past mistakes for large bulkers and tankers and intensify demands from large containerships

The third-biggest shipbuilder wants to see 40% more efficient large containers built after 2022 and change the reference line for large tankers and bulkers
