North Carolina ports to reopen 'by the end of the week'
The ports of Wilmington and Morehead City survived Hurricane Florence with no damage to major infrastructure, but following last week's direct hit warehouses and other structures saw damage and there was a significant number of empty containers strewn about to be dealt with
The North Carolina Ports Authority will co-ordinate directly with vessel operators and agents as operations recommence by the end of the week
