GasLog donates $500,000 to orphanage caught in Greek blaze

Greek shipping has a long, though often silent tradition of stepping in with help to fund essential services and social causes but this has come to the fore in the wake of catastrophic blazes last month in Attica that have so far killed 93 people. The latest to announce a donation is LNG carrier owner GasLog, which has pledged $500,000 to support a Greek orphanage that suffered damage from the deadliest of the fires
