London Greeks raise orderbook concerns
The Greek Shipping Co-operation Committee, the long-established voice of the so-called ‘London Greeks’, has registered its concerns about the size of the world order book, although conceding that newbuildings have played their role in establishing Greek shipping’s green credentials. Another theme of the GSCC’s new annual report is the challenge faced by the industry to meet emission reduction goals and to this end the body is calling for more R&D spending by industry partners such as shipbuilders and refineries
