ITF puts smaller tug crew and safety concerns at Panama Canal under spotlight

The International Transport Workers’ Federation has protested against the Panama Canal Authority’s disciplinary proceedings against 22 tug captains after they raised safety concerns. The captains refused to comply with mandatory procedures at the new locks, according to the authority
