North Vietnam opens first terminal able to handle 14,000 teu containerships
New MOL-Wan Hai invested terminal is equipped with annual capacity of 1.1m teu and a deepwater berth. It will help the Japanese shipping line to grow its presence in Vietnam
The move comes as carriers are cascading vessels of bigger sizes into Southeast Asian ports amid deliveries of ULCs and growing traffic in the region
