Concordia's Ullman says IMO sulphur rules will benefit tankers

Demand for tankers is expected to increase as a result of the International Maritime Organization's rules on low-sulphur fuel that takes effect in 2020 and that should support tanker rates, according to the head of Swedish owner and operator.

Sweden-based tanker owner and operator sees positives from the low sulphur rules, not just in terms of potential increased scrapping, but also as a result of changing trade patterns
