Shipping staring at 50% emissions cut by 2050
Countries currently engaged in negotiations at the International Maritime Organization have two days to ink a five-year greenhouse gas reductions strategy. Although it is too early to tell for certain, the vocal persistence by the EU and Pacific Islands may be paying off.
