Brisbane, Feb 10 -- Passenger ro/ro Matthew Flinders III has been in dry dock in Melbourne since Nov 28 awaiting repairs. Southern Shipping, which owns and operates the vessel was put into receivership on Jan 22 and has lost the contract to provide weekly services to Flinders and other Bass Strait Islands. It is expected the vessel will be sold to recoup some of the debts, said to be "several millions of dollars". -- Lloyd's Agents. (See issue of Jan 25.)
