ASL profits chopped in half by charter market slump
SINGAPORE-based shipowner and shipbuilder ASL Marine increased revenues 12% in the last six months of 2009, but its profits were cut in half due to a downturn in its ship-chartering operations, writes Martyn Wingrove.
