Revenue boost ends wretched 2009 for Royal Caribbean
A SURPRISE revival in the fourth quarter was unable to prevent Royal Caribbean from returning a 72% decline in full-year net profit for 2009, as a weak market got the better of the company’s attempts to shore up its bottom line, writes Rajesh Joshi in New York .
