Shanghai congestion sparks rate rise for shippers
CONTAINER traffic out of Asia is witnessing a “super-spike” ahead of the Chinese New Year, with serious congestion in Shanghai enabling some carriers to push for impromptu rate rises, according to Hong Kong-based freight consultancy Transport Trackers, writes David Osler.
