Casualties 6th January

London, Jan 6 -- A press report, dated today, states: General cargo Princess Chrisanta (2875 gt, built 1981) has been seized by the Sri Lankan Navy and is now anchored off Galle on display for the public. In response to numerous requests received, the Ministry of Defence and Sri Lanka Navy made special arrangements to give the general public the rare opportunity of viewing an ex-LTTE vessel at close quarters for the first time in history. The Princess Chrisanta , which was taken to Sri Lanka after a national level Intelligence operation led by Secretary of Defence Mr Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, is now on public display with Navy's elite Special Boats Squadron (SBS) and Rapid Action Boats Squadron (RABS) providing escort.
