Rotterdam bullish over growth in throughput
DESPITE reporting provisional cargo throughput figures for 2009 showing an 8.5% fall to 385m tonnes compared with 2008, the Port of Rotterdam says the second half of the year has seen a slight but steady improvement and it expects growth to resume in 2010, writes Steve Matthews .
