Itajai planning for two-thirds increase in cruise calls
THE Brazilian port of Itajai kicked off its cruise season last weekend when Silversea’s Silver Wind called and port authority officials are forecasting 21 vessel calls during the current season, which will run until April, up more than 66% over the 12 that berthed during the 2006-2007 season, writes Rob Ward.
