A newbuilding from Mediterranean Shipping Co’s largest class of containership has been deployed in its Lion service, which connects China and North Europe. The 9,500 teu MSC Candice, pictured, is the largest MSC vessel to call at the German ports of Hamburg and Bremerhaven. The vessel unloaded a total of 4,000 containers at MSC’s terminal in Bremerhaven, one of the largest box figures ever handled from an MSC vessel in Germany. Ralf Witthohn
