Maiden call Costa Serena graces Valletta

Yet another brand new cruiseliner has called at Valletta on its maiden call to Malta. Costa’s latest newbuilding, Costa Serena, graced the Grand Harbour on a brief seven-hour stay, before sailing for Naples with 3,000 passengers onboard. Costa cruiseships are regular visitors in Valletta and the Serena’s sistership, Costa Concordia, will again be calling weekly next year on its Mediterranean itinerary. The Costa Serena is the largest cruiseship flying the Italian flag. Cecil Jones
