Trial begins for QM2 walkway tragedy
A FRENCH court has been told that a walkway, which collapsed during the construction of the Queen Mary 2 at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in November 2003, sending 16 people to their deaths and leaving 29 injured, was not intended for use by the public, writes Andrew Spurrier in Paris.
