Japanese newbuild orders rise but fail to match previous year
JAPANESE shipyards saw newbuilding orders approved by the government last month rise to almost 1.26m gt, up a 3.81% on May, although the figure was still down 18.3% compared to June 2006, writes Keith Wallis in Hong Kong.
