National Trust builds on its work in the island of Heaven
ONLY once has Lloyd’s made a formal agreement with Heaven — to be precise, the Rev Hudson Heaven, who owned Lundy Island in the Bristol Channel. The Corporation needed his consent for a signal station on the island, which people called the Kingdom of Heaven, writes Don Black.
