Tight squeeze Auto markets
The automotive industry may have finally grasped the potential of logistics services, but savage competition and poor growth potential in mature markets will squeeze service providers, according to a report by Transport Intelligence. The Global Automotive Logistics report concludes that growth in traditional areas of production ? North America, Europe and Japan ? will be a meagre 2%-3%. In contrast new locations such as China or Russia have growth rates so high they are difficult to measure. Pictured: are Hyundai vehicles at Ulsan, South Korea.
