Nation’s yards make inroads into catching South Korea
CHINA’S shipbuilders are well on the way to overtaking their South Korean rivals after delivering foreign owned vessels worth $12.28bn in the eight months to August. This compared with ships worth $11.94bn that were delivered in the whole of 2007, according to customs figures, writes Keith Wallis.
