UK Navy expected to get powers to board ships
LEGISLATION giving the Royal Navy real but severely constrained rights to board, search and detain a ship of another flag state, and even to arrest people found on the vessel, is vying for a spot in this year’s Queen’s Speech, Lloyd’s List has learned.
