Trust required to balance risk in redelivery notices
MOST time charters contain provisions similar to clause four of the New York Produce Exchange form by which, typically, the charterer must give “not less than 15/10/7 days’ approximate notice followed by 5/3/1 days’ definite notice of vessels’ expected date of redelivery and probable port”, writes Nick Roberson.
