Lindenau yard falls prey to credit crisis

KIEL-based shipbuilder Lindenau Werft filed for insolvency yesterday. The move, which is being blamed squarely on the credit crisis, came after the yard failed to secure a refund guarantee for the construction of a double-hull tanker.
