Inviting Invergordon Scottish port enjoys cruise record
Record numbers of cruises have visited the Scottish port of Invergordon this year, adding £7m ($12.2m) to the Highland economy. Some 52 cruiseships have called at the port, bringing a total of 48,188 passengers, a 15% increase on the port’s previous record year in 2006. Cruiseships visiting the port included Boudicca, Grand Princess, Eurodam, pictured above, and Norwegian Jade.
