Paddling to stay afloat
IT WAS very sad to read of the death, on June 10, of Tony McGinnity, a mariner, surveyor and sale & purchase broker, who was the founding father of that noble institution the Merchant Mariners of Wight, a cheery group of former ships’ officers who live on that island, with some stout mainland supporters.
