WWL builds big for high and heavy cargo
THE focus of Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics (WWL)’s newbuilding programme is very much at the larger end of the PCTC size spectrum. The company currently has around 22 new large car carrier and ro-ro vessels on order, having earlier this year awarded contracts for eight further Large Car and Truck Carriers (LCTCs), which are each designed to carry around 8,000 cars, with the Daewoo and Hyundai Heavy Industries yards in South Korea.
