IMO’s PSPC has not gone far enough, warns expert
WHILE accepting that the International Maritime Organization’s Performance Standard for Protective Coatings, which came into force on July 1 for vessels over 50,000 dwt, is a step in the right direction, International Paint’s worldwide marine business development manager Mike Hindmarsh believes the new standards could have gone further and raise a number of issues.
