Maersk looks to plug gap with boxship newbuildings
MAERSK Line is stepping up its investment in new reefer-capable tonnage to cater in particular for export-led growth in the South American trades. In particular, the company has just placed a substantial order for a total of 16 7,450 teu capacity vessels with the South Korean shipyard Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering.
