Tartous ‘to handle 450,000 teu by 2010’
IT WILL be two years at the end of July since International Container Terminal Services landed a 10-year concession with an option for a five-year extension to operate Tartous Container Terminal in Syria. The deal was struck in the face of stiff competition from CMA CGM, Kuwait and Gulf Link Transport/Gulf Stevedoring and OPM/PWC Logistics.
