Lloyd’s Register to broaden class role

LLOYD’S Register chief executive Richard Sadler has said the classification society will increase its provision of “support, systems and guidance for shipbuilders, operators and regulators beyond the traditional role of class” in an effort to improve quality and safety, writes Neville Smith.
