Ipswich welcomes return of ro-ro as dry bulk prospers

THE port of Ipswich suffered a hefty blow last year when Ferryways’ ro-ro service disappeared almost overnight, and Associated British Ports made 30 compulsory redundancies. Now the port is preparing for the return of a ro-ro service, to be run by Cobelfret’s Dart Line to Ostend. In effect, this is the service launched out of Harwich under the RoRoCo brand last year.
