Busy German yards employ more staff
GERMAN yards have created 1,000 new jobs over the past year because of their heavy workloads, the president of the shipbuilding association, VSM Werner Lüken, said at the prelude to the European Shipyard Week, which begins on Monday, writes Katrin Berkenkopf in Cologne.
