Getting bigger Belfast begins work on major quay extension
PORT of Belfast has begun work on a £9.5m ($19m) extension of its deep water facilities at Stormont Wharf as part of its ambitious long-term plan to double capacity. When the 250 m extension is completed in December this year, the berth will be more than 1 km in length, writes Roger Hailey.
